For the first time in over 20 years I attacked a seriously wonky wheel with a spoke spanner. I was going to wait until Christmas and get the shop to do it, but the loose and creaky spokes along with the buckled rim, showed little sign of lasting that long. Fortunately, I hadn't completely forgotten how to do it and all is now well :)
After a few weeks where my commute times were getting slower as the weather has got colder, this morning I pulled one out of the bag, so to speak. A new fastest time of 21 minutes and 16 seconds
Probably aided by spotting a guy roughly a quarter mile ahead of me and deciding that I was going to try to catch him up, which I did.
This little bit of sticky tape, which is about 1 inch square, cost me about 6 hours in traffic yesterday and is the reason I find myself sitting on the A13 heading into London in the middle of rush hour.
Windoze is rapidly disappearing in this house.
SLG has got herself a new toy, a very stylish acer mini laptop with linux.
But it's plenty cold enough
Might just have to stick this one on my forehead.
