I downloaded joikuspot light onto my N95 8GB two days ago and after finding
that I needed to use a static IP address from the eee pc user forum, got it working through my phone perfectly.
It worked fine and I was very impressed, but found that I couldn't log in to my gmail account. So having spoken with
Alfie yesterday, I downloaded joikuspot premium, which I thought would give me the access I required, but I've so far been unable to establish an internet connection of any kind. I've tried the different channels and auto/ad hoc connections, but the closest I've got so far, is for my eee pc to say the connection is enabled and that I am connected, but I can't browse websites at all.
I've spent hours trawling through various forums trying to find the answer, so I thought I'd throw it open to the good folk of moblog. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
For the record, I'm using an Eee PC 701 with its Linux OS, a Nokia N95 8GB and I'm on 3.
