A completely alien time to be off to work for me, but even on what is only the second train of the day, there are hardly any seats left.
And it's raining, can I have yesterday's weather back please?

Joikuspot help please, any clever folk out there

(viewed 2923 times)
I downloaded joikuspot light onto my N95 8GB two days ago and after finding
that I needed to use a static IP address from the eee pc user forum, got it working through my phone perfectly.

It worked fine and I was very impressed, but found that I couldn't log in to my gmail account. So having spoken with Alfie yesterday, I downloaded joikuspot premium, which I thought would give me the access I required, but I've so far been unable to establish an internet connection of any kind. I've tried the different channels and auto/ad hoc connections, but the closest I've got so far, is for my eee pc to say the connection is enabled and that I am connected, but I can't browse websites at all.

I've spent hours trawling through various forums trying to find the answer, so I thought I'd throw it open to the good folk of moblog. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For the record, I'm using an Eee PC 701 with its Linux OS, a Nokia N95 8GB and I'm on 3.

Another new fastest time last night. That's nearly three minutes off in two days.

[edit] Sent this again as I got a message from amber.moblog.co.uk saying it couldn't be delivered because of a whole chunk of techy type text I couldn't understand.

Saw this post from afternoon and then spotted a very similar one round the corner from where I work.

I took the best part of two minutes off my best time this evening, I'm now down to 23 mins 22 secs. Totally chuffed :)
The weather's changed a lot though since the lovely stuff at the weekend.

From the other Friday when we went off to see the seniors play. Lovely place to stroll round.
