Nokia 7610 Camera Phone Review

(viewed 5569 times)
This time from Normal size, to full zoom. The good thing with the 7610
here is that the image size remains the same, and seems to in fact be a
true zoom function.

Sun Test

Taken with the Nokia 7610 pointed directly at the sun. Notice no black centre,
first time Ive seen a cam phone that doesnt do that.

7610 Movie Edit Feature

(viewed 3974 times)
The 7610 comes with an interesting video edit feature. With this clip, I
used the "Quick Muvee" Option, which lets you choose a piece of music,
and enter text. What it has done by itself, is sequence the movie in a
different order to the way it was shot. I think it's a fun idea, and if
you have the elements in folders, you could make quite fun little pieces
of video with it for MMS'ing; after all this vid came in at only 90kb.

7610 Zoom Function

(viewed 3738 times)
Taken using the 3x zoom function on the 7610, you can see that although
definition on detail is lost, overall the zoom function is an excellent
addition to the 7610's functionality, bringing it even closer in line
to it's digital camera counterparts.

Macro / Colour

(viewed 3066 times)
Close up of clothing pegs. Good definition on the detail, as well as
strong colours with no jpeg compression artifacts. Lets see how other
models measure against this benchmark.

Close and Distance focus.

(viewed 3165 times)
Clear and sharp focus on the foreground, and a soft foucs on the
horizon. No jpeg compression artifacts, do I need to buy a digital camera?
