December 18th: Santa Glass

(viewed 1393 times)
Yesterday I got this as a present from a total stranger at a christmas market. In fact my colleague, 20 kids and I got one each! We were singing christmas carols and this woman liked it so much that she gave us these ones afterwards.

Now to the tricky part: In danish it's called a "nisse", but what's it called in english? elf, alf, goblin, pixy, gnome, santa's little helper??

Anyway this woman reminded me that christmas is the time for sharing and caring,

Merry Christmas to all mobloggers, your families and loved ones.

In Memory of Maria. 1966-1993

(viewed 1743 times)

My little sis passed away at Christmas, enveloped by the love of all of her family.
Left us far to soon.
Each year for the last twenty, I have brought to her, her own Christmas tree and sat with her and remembered...
Away from home this year and unable to visit, my beloved sister, her twin Julia has taken my place.
Here is her 21st tree.
So my contribution to this calendar may remind us all of our loved ones no longer with us but still very much in our hearts...
Maybe a little more at this special time of the year.

May the message of Christmas fill your lives with joy, peace and love.
