Christmas comes in all shapes, sizes and degrees of twinkliness.
Whether you're planning a full-on glitter-fest or a more subdued matt occasion, I wish all of the moblog community a festive season full of love.

Day 18: Lichen for Snow

(viewed 1040 times)
I don't know if this scene looks as Christmassy to you as it does to me, but my Christmas never had real snow even though I always heard it should be White. So I soon learned to accept pale grey lichen for snow and to declare Christmas when the forests around start looking like this.

So, wherever you are and however nature is looking like at the moment, I wish you all a wonderful holiday season.

Snowy Montreal

(viewed 902 times)
I've always loved this series of photographs taken by my friend Jesse many years ago. It conjures up a nostalgic image of cold dark December nights, brightened up by the snow and the Christmas lights. We had 40 cms of snow today, so this photo seems especially apt.
Merry Christmas everyone, and enjoy your winter!

Dec 15th - God jul allihopa!

(viewed 991 times)
This year will be special to us because it is the first year we have spent Christmas in Sweden. With the snow falling thickly last night and the decorations going up everywhere that Christmas feeling is finally taking hold.

So I say: God jul och gott nytt år allihopa!
