His Excellency Dr Ken Michael AC, The Govenor of Western Australia, visited my Dad's bowls club on Monday.

I kind of ended up as 'official' photographer and snapped a couple of hundred 'action shots'.

The whole day was filled with a Governor's select team vs Bassendean Bowls Club competition (Guv's won by a whisker).
Nice chap, very easy to chat to. Yesterday he was on the evening news, presenting medals to fire & police officers.

We took our Dad (and a whole bunch of others) out on a river-cruise up the Swan river for Father's day.

Audry(in red) & Len(in Blue) (my Mum's Sister & Brother-in-law) have been like surrogate parents to Maxine while she was here and M&D; were still in the UK. Lovely people.

This river trip was like sailing through a wildlife park, or at least, a bird sanctuary.

At the turnaround point (a little way up from Rolf Harris's old house) we spent an hour wine "tasting". Anja liked the "taste" very much.

Spectacular Spring skies over the Perth skyline as we arrived back.

Been away "doing stuff", as you do.
Been here exactly a week now and it feels like much, much longer, we've been so busy out and about.

This is the Sunday morning, day after we arrived, (my Sister) Maxine's House.
Eric (her Hubby) is still away on the Oil Rig, will be back next week.

Mum And Dad looking very well, fantastic to see everyone again.

Michael, my Nephew, still pretty elusive as far as getting a photograph of him is concerned.

Arived safe'n'sound in Perth WA.
Well, I say "sound", I mean shagged.
It's a 6hr flight to Dubai UAE, then a 12hr flight to Perth WA from there.

Anja did so very well, almost all the way. Then it all hit her and she was in a bit of trouble.

We arrived at 17.00 local time and after a decent night's kip we're all fine again.

Busy days ahead, great seeing everyone, good to be here (again).
