Personal Favourites from my moblog

"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience

Skating away, skating away, skating away On the thin ice of the new day"

Chipping & Shooting

The front door was frozen shut again, so out came the hammer and screw drivers. (Thankfully, the door is steel, so whacking it does no harm.) I filled the feeders then chipped ice for a while. The birds started arriving, so I hung out in the doorway, freezing my whatsits off to get a few shots. Ah, winter.

Bruce Loot

(viewed 807 times)
Bruce got loot too - a new rag rug for his food table; 2 fresh bags of organic whole wheat pasta, organic Spring mix salad, corn pops, new chew sticks, nut bars and a new box for the 2nd floor of his condo (his favourite type of box, one from the bookstore) filled with beanie babies.

The Drive Home

Got home just before visibility completely disappeared. It snowed a lot while we were gone; Rick bought a much wanted toy though - a snow blower, so he's going to have fun with it tomorrow.

Happy New Year!

Happiest of New Year's to you all; here's hoping for a great year for all.*

Echo Lost II

Took these a couple of weeks ago in Glen Ullin. Not long after the West Almont Elevators were torn down, work started on disappearing the old grain elevator in Glen Ullin. Most of it was already gone when I shot these, the main elevator in the shots is completely gone now. No more Roller Mills.
