Personal Favourites from my moblog

"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience

Skating away, skating away, skating away On the thin ice of the new day"

Cleanliness requires comfort

Alfie, playing king of the world, cleaning himself in my easy chair.

Broken Heart

(viewed 757 times)
I thought my absences due to my net connection were over, not so...

The sat connection did not work out, so we're now on wifi broadband, which seems to be working much better. Yay! (I hope).

Settling In

(viewed 879 times)
The boys have well and truly settled in, they are loving their new place. Chas (top two shots) is the tea monkey and helps himself. Alfie (last two shots) is the keyboard kid, he's made my laptop do some very interesting things lately and he's discovered suet in all its goodness.

Back & On the Good Stuff

(viewed 1215 times)
Sorry I disappeared; a friend is staying with us and needed the dial-up connection more than we did. We're now on satellite/wireless (as of last night), so yay!

The bad news: Bruce, my adorable little monster, died on September 30th. He was peaceful in the end and seemed grateful for my touch.

The new rats have been here less than an hour. Introducing Alfie (top shot) and Chas (2nd shot). 5 months old.

I'm still busy trying to switch stuff over, so it will be a day or two until I can manage to catch up, even with the much speedier connection
