Personal Favourites from my moblog

"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience

Skating away, skating away, skating away On the thin ice of the new day"

A slice of another old elevator, this one in Glen Ullin. One of these days, I'll document this one thoroughly, it's a grand structure even though it too has fallen into decades of disuse.

Elevators in Winter

Visited the beloved grain elevators today. It's a beautiful day, and much needed, as it's supposed to snow Sunday and Monday. Sigh. This was Matoska's first trip to the elevators, and a good time was had by all.

Out my front window

(viewed 937 times)
In the second shot, the snow 'wall' to the right is hanging down from the roof in front of my window. The ice is hanging from the inside of it. Shot at an angle, hanging half out my window while hoping no cat would be stupid enough to make the leap for freedom. (None did, they aren't snow fans.)

The bad news: It's snowing. Rick went to work, he might be stuck in town again.

The good news: There be beer here.
