I know these as *Love in a mist* According to the language of flowers, love in a mist translates to Perplexity.

I've really learned a lot of flower names since I started moblogging.

I realise now that they are fully out that these yellow things I found growing outside the surgery were in their bud form. IMHO they look better like this than they do out.

A dog rose. When I checked it out in the language of flowers it said *poetic gift, pleasure and sufferance*. I suppose it was too much to hope that the dog rose would be interpreted as *Can I shag your leg?* or *Can I sniff your bum?* or my favourite *can we do it doggy style?*...

There were other colours too but this was the most common shade. I love this stuff and wonder if it would grow in Craft HQ garden.
