Azure-winged Magpie

(viewed 985 times)
Finally something other than bugs! And I know what you're thinking: it just had to be birds. ;D

It was the first time I sighted this bird. There was a big flock passing by but sadly they didn't give me many opportunities to get decent shots, so these were the only I got. Gorgeous bird, I hope to see them again.

Burnet Moth

(viewed 1191 times)
I know this moblog is becoming overloaded with bugs, but this burnet moth(Zygaena fausta, I think) is too beautiful not to share.

And now I promise I will try to vary a bit. Try. :D

Chicory

Parsley Bugs

After the carpet beetles... another beetle, a bee, and a spider. Parsley flowers are great for attracting all kinds of bugs, apparently.

Not dandelions. Prickly Golden Fleeces (Urospermum picroides).
