All Disquiet on the BreakfastBattlefront

(viewed 779 times)
Meant to post this earlier :: it wouldn't be at all funny if it were staged - then it would just be odd - but the plate slipped as placed it on a pile of items, I scrambled to save it, and next I knew, my peanut butter on toast was strewn with casualties(in a really impressive back-to-back protective formation, incidentally). RIPB gentlemen.

late of the pier (a1 band, incidentally)

(viewed 1291 times)
pier prep. sketch for acrylic for gifts commemorating the 3.8km round swim which have now swum twice, waters abubble with schools of fish, an ululation of stingrays (which are peaceful creatures, unless you behave like a nincompoop, now deceased, around them)... think that collective noun just made up suits them

It's a bit of a boring drawing actually, will have to do tricky things with acrylic texture paint beneath the colour to make it a bit more 3D and worthwhile.

@manarh Hip Hip Hooray! (belated)

So difficult to find anything but basic white chalk in London, yet here a small stationery shop on Queen Street, Busselton with 25k pop'n has all kinds (including 'school quality') - staff apologised as there had been a run on the giant chalk - London shopping priorities are positively skewed. Have procured you some in case of chalking-up emergency, Manar.

Adorable French architect Adele to whom gave swimming lessons this morning and whose notebook is filled with notes on Oz painters, pressed botanicals and drawings.
