went out for tapas. Yummy. Happy birthday kidda
Decided not to bother going to work today, so i went out for a short cycle (16.66 miles). T'was foggy ya know
I had to rescue a large angry buzzer from the dining room. I snapped it while it was trapped in the glass, this was very brave, it was huge and i am allergic!
this is her looking her best
well yesterday's i just didn't get round to blogging it. 'Twas only a short one of 12 miles, to Temple Newsam, no photo opportunities either, the pretty bits were obscured by bank holiday day trippers and it was very grey. The first pic should show Leeds in the distance, if you squint you can see it. The 2nd is the one and only reason BaggieBoy and I don't ride a tandem - we wouldn't be able to get it through these double gate things
Today we drove to a friends at Apperley Bridge, we then cycled to Skipton. It was really quite breezy! It is a lovely stretch. Too many people about to take any good pics, we saw lots of nesting swans and a few toads too. For part of the time we were indeed following Route 69
We went to Fairburn Ings, an RSPB reserve for wetland birds. I am submitting these pics to evidence the fact that i need a proper camera for grown ups. Any ideas folks? It needs to be idiot proof (waiting for snide remarks from Joker, Sprocket et al) and cheap enough for BaggieBoy to get me for my birthday
