How to play "Mistletoe" by Justin Bieber No Capo

(viewed 234 times)
Chords you will need:

A-major
Index finger on the D-string 2nd fret
Middle finger on the G-string 2nd fret
Ring finger on the B-string 2nd fret

E-major
Index finger on the G-string 1st fret
Middle finger on the A-string 2nd fret
Ring finger on the D-string 2nd fret

This is a bit of a tricky one as it is a barre chord, I know some people try to avoid barre chords as much they can but you'll have to learn it sooner or later.

F#m (minor)
With your index finger , you are going to barre all the strings by clampping it down onto the fret board in the 2nd fret
Ring finger on the A-string 4th fret
Pinky on the D-string 4th fret
*remeber to clamp down hard to prevent that buzzing sound when playing the barre chord

D-major
Index finger on the G-string 2nd fret
Ring finger on the B-string 3rd fret
Middle finger on the thin E-string 2nd fret

And that is the order in which the song is played
Strumming is open for suggestion although I could advise you when starting out to strum as such:

Down up...... Down...... Down up....... Down
And then change to the next chord, its a bit of a reggae strumming pattern and I normally mute the strings by stopping it with my hand , so where the ellipses are, that is where I mute the strings

I hope you enjoy playing this song and you can mail me your requests

These are all down strums and could become boring so improvise with some ups as well as downs

Gx2--Dx2--Emx2--C--D
And it repeats itself

I hope you will enjoy this , it is my first attempt at blogging!!!!
