resistance is futile

So I ate it. Broke down the defensive barrier and VOOM!
Quicker than you can say "you'll regret that in the morning" GONE.

Annie's bedroom toy

(viewed 602 times)
(No, not that.)

It's an alarm clock, basically.
Half an hour before the time set it starts to glow very dimly. Gradually
getting brighter during the half hour until it's like daylight in the room
(some kind of filter or other that makes the light more like proper
Your body apparently reacts favorably to dawn light and you wake up feeling
fresh and recharged. Much better than a horrible buzzer anyway. If the light
hasn't woken you by the time you've set it starts a bird dawn-chorus, very
softly to start with and gradually getting louder, until you really can't
ignore it any more.
I have no idea if it works, I woke up twice this weekend to an elbow in the
ribs and; "Hey, look, look, the light's gone on!".
I think she lies there awake all night looking at it, waiting for it to go

Not a KitKat

(viewed 635 times)
It was kind of ok, a bit on the "too-sweet" side, but it wasn't a KitKat,

We'd heard about this thing, now we know it's true.

80,000 Euros for a TV!!

60,343.41 GBP

118,218.43 USD

I'd have to work for two weeks straight to earn that much!

that brightened things up a bit!

Annie did a course on interior design and it was decided that the room
should be completely turned around, which left this big old bare white bit
up behind the sofa.
I dived in like a shot and had "one of mine" printed on a 100cm X 150cm
canvas which we picked up this morning.
Very pleased with the result.

I give up!!

This is an 8 shot multi panorama picture of the central ceiling of the State
Museum in Prague.
It's been like an impossible digital jigsaw puzzle trying to get it all to
match up.
I can't get it any better than this and have now put it to bed.
Bad idea.
