Annie in the festive spirit

Decking the halls with piles of snow-oh.
I think we'll have to turn the thermostat down a touch though if she wants it to last 'till Xmas.

All gone!

(Old place empty now)
We've moved to our new warehouse (gone from 7 to 21 loading bays) over this weekend.
The plan is to unplug the computers from the old place on Friday and hope they work in the new place on Monday morning.
This, I have to see.

Hi Jack!

(viewed 1354 times)
He's like, four days old.
Well done Rachael & Andy!
(Rachael slipped and broke her arm during the labour so things are even tougher than they would ordinarily be).
This is Jack with Anja, getting all "cooey" (NO, Annie, not a chance!)
The blue & white things with the coffee are "muisjes", or "mice", served traditionally when a baby's born. Blue for a boy, pink for a girl. They're anniseeds coated in candy and have tiny little "tails" (the stalks of the seeds).

Big, roughie-toughie trucker makes cookies in the weekends. And Annie made a kind of tea-cake bread thing filled with apricots and all things yum.
Spoiled for choice we are.
We've had one of those cookie-pistols, like a glue-gun but tastier, for years and never used it. It's got about twenty five different shape thingies!
I've got a bar of that 70% chocolate to melt and dip them in later.
If any survive long enough.

The Astronomical Clock.
Just off the Staromestske Namesti.
Over 500Years old. Every hour Jesus & his 12 buddys are paraded out. The top disc shows the time, the month and the lunar cycle. The other one is a "Calendarium" with signs from the zodiac.
