Prague #3

Can't resist putting a few more of these up here, I should be processing the hundreds of "street shots" but these are more fun and keep getting in the way.
There are a fair few night shots too, and one or two with familiar faces in them.

Prague #2

With varying degrees of skill & artistry, all over town but not on any of the "monumental" buildings. At least, not on the fronts.
Thanks for all your comments on the previous post, and tnks for the HL, sorry I can't answer too promptly, no internet connection up here in the Welsh valleys, at least not for me.

Prague #1

The pick of this morning's crop.
Trying to recreate the moody light that surrounded the town.
This place is a photographer's dream, a "target-rich environment".

U Fleku, Prague

(viewed 2049 times)
Is quite a place!
Personnel trained to get tourists extremely drunk, very quickly, feed them strong, dark beer, shots of yellow schnaps, gulash stew with dumplings and sauerkraut.
Play accordion/tuba music at them 'till they stagger, screaming for the street, leaving the table free for the next load.
Great place!

Made it!

(viewed 1329 times)
Through the deep deep snow, the forests with bear and wolf, the miles of traffic jams, we're here.
Thirteen hours in the bus.
We found pizza place that was open late and hit the sack.
I've decided to take only black and white pictures this weekend, seems to "fit".
It's "independence day" today for "Checks", we're heading into town, hopefully there'll be loads of big demonstrations on the streets, I'll put my Hi-viz vest on and pretend to be from "national geographic".
And it's just started snowing.

still two hours to go

(viewed 1272 times)
And there's a fair old bit of snow fallen here!
I just bought THE coolest hat from a vietnamese "shack" at the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.
My ears are now warm as toast.
