Halfway through east germany.
Another four and a half hours to go.
But we're having such fun!
Or at least that's what I keep telling myself.
It's snowing.

Hoar frost

(viewed 2660 times)
"Radiation frost (also called hoar frost or, sometimes, hoarfrost) refers to the white ice crystals, loosely deposited on the ground or exposed objects, that form when the air is moist, the wind is weak or absent and surfaces are cold. It is often seen on clear winter nights, especially in valleys and hollows. Hoar frost can form in these areas even when the reported temperature is above the freezing point of water."

Now, I'm a professional driver, I do this for a living, but if I had to crawl to work for an hour a day, twice a day, in traffic like this I'd go nuts.
Some people do it year after year.
I'm trying to get through Nijmegen to "pop in" to work (oh, did I mention I was off this week?) to drop off some paperwork and take some pictures of our shiny new building(s) that are close to completion. We'll be moving in three weeks. By which time I'll still be stuck in this jam, most likely.

Saturday night LIVE!

Last Saturday, right,
at the rugby club, yeah?
Well, it was "country nite", right?
I made a little movie of one of their numbers.
They had the place swinging!
(Yes, that's Em&En; (my sons) in the braces, cheers lads, you made it real
I love that bit in the middle where they start fighting!)
Here's the
to the movie on YouTube (I didn't want to shrink it any more to fit here direct)
