The shoe-smith

Now now ladies, calm down.
;-)
I suppose this still goes on all over the place, there's loads of horses about and China hasn´t yet automated the process. You just don´t normally see it.
This guy was showing his stuff to the line dancers, most of whom, I fear, have never seen a horse this close up before.

It's "that" time of year again.

And they still don't look any happier!
Something about linedancers that they in no way must appear to be enjoying themselves. I don't know whether it's that they're concentrating hard on the steps, or that they're very self conscious, perhaps a bit of both, or neither; maybe they just take themselves too seriously but I find that hard to believe, check out "running bear" at the end of the clip, face? Poker-straight.
There's a guy walking about here in cowboy-chaps and a parrot on his shoulder. Not sure if he's capt. Jack Sparrow or Buffalo-Bill.------

Tonight's stopover

From the highlands of Scotland to the lowlands of Holland.
This is Elburg. I'm parked next to the harbour, it's an inland port, used to be a sea port until they drained the Flevopolder, in the fifties I think.------

Parked up

Please witness, truck safely left behind, not "asking for trouble" or nuffin.
This is the same place where last year I had the front end ripped off the MAN while I was in ASDA doing my shopping.
Fingers crossed this time, eh?
