Here's a little guy that was jumping around our sunbeds looking for nibbles. one of the only animals we found in Africa that weren't stuffed or pickled or dried out. he's in mid-hop. A wild sparrow having a forage. I gave them as many nibbles as I could.---------------------------------

Here's my little friend, he met me at breakfast as I was about to bite into this apple. He's a harmless little guy & seems overwhelmed by the scale of the world around him. After our waiter got over the fact that I was not complaining, but actually wanted to take pictures of the little guy, he kinduv came to terms with the fact that I wanted to release him into the wild, apple and all so that he could get a chance at life. My First African friend!

It took many attempts to get this one right - delayed exposure, 29 seconds at F7, carried a tripod through customs etc etc but for an amateur photographer I reckon this isn't bad..

Trafalgar Square is actually a hard place to get a good pic of. I hope I've managed. It took 7 attempts.
