And then we came home again. Seems a long time ago now but it was a wonderful holiday :)

Headed down to call for the pope to see if he wanted to play, he didn't so we had a peep round his garden.
Bottom picture - These men were all the way round the front courtyard bit, I loved them.
When I was showing Mummy H the pictures, she told me how my Grandad always used to talk about being in Rome during the war, and that him and his mates carved their names in to the back of one of these men, I double love this picture now :)

First stop, coliseum.

The gap between the Venice and Pisa blogs wasn't actually meant for dramatic effect, was busy changing jobs and being poorly.
So, from Venice we travelled to Pisa.

Lovely place again, but I challenge you to find anything to eat other than pizza or something that looks alot like pizza.
