The bog garden is coming along nicely.
Venus flytrap (Dionaea muscipula), Fork-leafed Sundew (Drosera binata), Cape
Sundew (Drosera capensis), Pale Trumpet (Sarracenia alata), Purple pitcher
(Sarracenia purpurea), Yellow Trumpet (Sarracenia flava), White Trumpet
(Sarracenia leucophylla), Parrot pitcher (Sarracenia psittacina), Sarracenia
wrigleyana.
Hanging from the pole is Nepenthes miranda.
A couple of these are a bit blurry due to me holding the phone at ground
level rather than actually laying in the bog. :)
1. Heron looking for a good fishing spot on the Chet.
2. Fish sighted.
3. In for the kill.
4. I always wanted to capture the heart shape that a pair of swans make & this is the closest I have managed to get so far.
5. Swans cruising the river.
6. Posing for the camera.
1. Waveney River Center - Burgh St. Peter
2. Floating garden.
3. Just a nice view.
4. Moored for the evening.
5. Berney Arms Mill.
6. One morning just as the mist was clearing.
Swan overload. Similar photo's, but just nice. :)
Mostly obvious, but just so that there's a bit of text:
1 - Burgh St Peter. (That's the name of the place, not the boat)
2 - Broads Authority
3 - Can you guess what it is yet?
4 - Bathtub & Geese
5 - Goose
6 - Oh no, a sunset photo :o
7 - That dark blob is actually a snake's head. Terrible photo I know, I'm not so good at the 'quick, grab the camera, something really fast is happening' thing. You'll just have to take my word for it. A snake swam past the boat and across the river.. really fast.
8 - Converted Mill
