Chinese New Year in London's Chinatown is now SOUL-DESTROYINGLY HORRIBLE, thanks to over-zealous crowd control that crams far too many people into a pedestrian one-way system that's almost impossible to get out of. Still, the fireworks are cool.
The Black Swan pub (aka the Dirty Duck) in Stratford-Upon-Avon is traditionally where the Royal Shakespeare Company goes to unwind after a hard day's acting. I'd assumed it was a tradition that wouldn't apply to the visiting cast of the Arabic Richard III update. Guess I was wrong.
