Hope I've done this rightPeople have been at me for ages to set up a blog with how my progress is going. It should also save me phone calls and texts to keep people up to date (Don't worry mum I'll still call you).
So here is my first entry been suffering from Leukeamia for about a year now so am probably a bit too late with this blog. However, they do say better late than never.
It has been a long and scary journey which I would not have made without the support of family and friends but especially my wife Lesley who has been the rock upon which I have built my battle with this illness and the numerous NHS staff I have come in contact with (to many to mention but you know who you are and how much I appreciate your work in very difficult circumstances) you are my angels.
Over the next few days I will update this site with details of my journey and any new developments. I will be as frank as possible but will not go into details on Lumber Punctures or Bone Marrow Aspirates other than to say these are the two things I really hate and have to undergo regularly
Hope you can bear with me and hopefully draw on my experiences to help yourselves or others who you know have similar problems. Please don't pass comment on my spelling as I know it's terribleTake care and stay well
