"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadslide, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming- WOW-WHAT A RIDE!"
Joe Kopp, US Flat track racer.
I took this pic of my bike down on the Humber banks when I was out riding this evening. Gave me chance for a breather
We get so little decent weather in Blighty that when we do there's only one thing for it. Go and crash out in the sun. Which is exactly what me and the Maffster did on Saturday. Not desperately productive but very relaxing.

Our final mission in LA was to find the Hollywood sign. Not a hard thing you may say, its only arguably Americas most recognised landmark. But no one could tell us how to get there. Eventually we oarked up and walked up a hill for about 30mins to get close enough to take a decent pic. Although it was a hell of a view over LA from up there.

In order not to bore you here are a few highlights of the sight seeing. AT&T; PArk where we saw the Giants against the Colorado Rockies and the Golden Gate bridge which is very nice but not as big as the Humber Bridge, which I can see from my bedroom (nearly.)

After Coachella we took a drive upto San Francisco. It is without a doubt a very cool place and we had to visit its most notorious accomodation. Although unfortunately they wouldn't lock Dewy up;)

A few more atmosphere shots from the fest. Atmosphere was something wey certainly weren't missing.
The whole reason for our trip. Coachella is without doubt one of the most mental festivals you'll ever go to. Sat in the middle of what is basically a desert in 45 degree heat with little shade it ain't for everyone but I can't recommend it enough. You can keep the crowds and mud of Glastonbury thanks, I'm with Coachella every time. Some of the bands/artists we saw included: Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys, The Kooks, Jesus and Mary Chain, Jarvis Cocker, Faithless, Placebo and the reason I wanted to go, my all time fav band Rage Against The Machine.
No trip to San Diego is complete without a trip to the Zoo. Check out the monkey, then look at the pic of Dewy with the Twinkies, any similarities? The Polar bear was pretty cool but the Panda was without doubt the coolest thing known to man.
