I don't know if my doctor doesn't have disco bandaids, or if I simply do
not rate one.

A new credit card offer. Pre-approved, we aren't picky about who
accepts... But not the cat.

A world at my fingertips.

(viewed 590 times)
This morning I woke up and stumbled downstairs to take my meds and have some breakfast.

Next stop, my computer. The first thing I check is not a News site. I take half a peek in my email and look in a chat window, a small IRC channel that I stay logged 24/7 most of the time. Nobody is really talking, but that isn't unusual since with many of us in different time zones, chatting varies. I scroll back to see what they were talking about earlier in the morning and I see people asking about one of our chatters who lives in the UK and works in London. The response is, he is on holiday, so he is safe, but upset.

A horrible sinking feeling hits the pit of my stomach.

"Something happened." I announce to the room in general, but my
husband happens to be in it.

"I don't know... something in London" I am switching to the news tab in the browser to find out what. He is doing the same. We read, and get less than a paragraph into the first story.

He immediately fires off an email to the London office of his company to check on his co-workers.

My next step is immediately to hit moblog UK and make sure the people whose lives I glimpse through their photos and comments are okay.

Our thoughts are with you. Take care.
