This is Brompton cemetery which is a great Sunday walk venue. As well
as the ancient graves and mausoleums and some famous name graves there
are these wonderful colonnades. I am not a travelled person but one of
our companions said it was reminiscent of cemeteries on the continent,
although the continental cemeteries have more flowers on the graves.
The criss-cross structure just visible to the right (top pic) is the
back of the stands at Chelsea football club.
The waitress in this place was really young and really beautiful but as miserable as sin. If I was so young and so beautiful I would be laughing my head off.... But then, I don't suppose it is very pleasant waiting tables on a Sunday but then, if she tried smiling once in a while then she might get some decent tips which might make working Sundays more appealing.. Sometimes I think that the saying "youth is wasted on the young" is damned right.
