I took this photo of Box Hill last Friday while we were waiting for the Torch to pass through our nearest town which is Dorking. This weekend the whole area is being given over to the road cycling events. Some people are upset and some people are excited. Me, I not particularly interested in the cycling but I've enjoyed being in an area that's part of it. There's going to be a lot of disruption but so? We've had plenty of warning and it's only one weekend out of life for the area.
I love this place. As well as the ring of stones there are 3 goats and a sheep to keep the grass down...

Today The Beloved Spaceman taught his last class and will be starting a new job out of teaching quite soon. To reward himself for getting the new job which really is a change of career direction for him he pre-ordered the Nexus 7 and it turned up this morning. And please dear people, I'm quite worn out with Blade Runner references from when I broke the news on Facebook...
...Then all my Christmas present problems would be solved this year.
