The Beloved Spaceman..Who loved it that the maces/rushes seemed to have halos.
We went out to eat and at the next table were a family of 4 which included 2 little children. None of them could speak English and the waitress was getting exasperated. So my BS waded in there and with a mixture of mime and smiles got their order sorted out. The waitress started to be much kinder too.. He does that, he makes other people kind with his charm and patience.
He is so good to strangers, sometimes it annoys me, as we're often more involved in a situation than I'm comfortable with, but mostly he delights me : )
Right now he's kneeling on the floor constructing an intricate marble maze for the kitten to watch.
*Every time you wake up and ask yourself, What good things am I going to do today?, remember that when the sun goes down at sunset, it will take a part of your life with it.*
Last night's sunset

*It is light that reveals, light that obscures, light that communicates. It is light I "listen" to. The light late in the day has a distinct quality, as it fades toward the darkness of evening. After sunset there is a gentle leaving of the light, the air begins to still, and a quiet descends. I see magic in the quiet light of dusk. I feel quiet, yet intense energy in the natural elements of our habitat. A sense of magic prevails. A sense of mystery. It is a time for contemplation, for listening - a time for making photographs.*

...Or how fortunate we were to get a kitten to match the scratching post!
I'm trying to show his lovely spots and stripes. Trouble is, as soon as he sees the camera he comes rushing over to investigate it!
