What with something a bit mad and weird going on in BS's family and my niece's bad news I find I'm distracted to the point where my memory is affected. Today I forgot I had to go to a meeting until a colleague reminded me. Funny that, as I must have ignored the entry in my diary and the note on my calendar.
The top I'm wearing today is a bit slutty and I had no time to change! I wondered if the MD would try to hit on me, he seems to like me. By *like me* I mean he remembers my name, although in all fairness I'm a hard person to forget... Anyway, it was so bloody cold in there I kept my jacket on anyway! So he missed out on a tantalizing glimpse of my really very exciting bra.
This is the middle of the garden where Stan and I admired the late still blooming roses and agreed, yes, it is quite warm in the sun...
Many of you know Dazzle_Dust is my much loved niece and God Daughter. With her permission and knowledge I am letting you all know that last Friday she was diagnosed with a brain tumour. We will know more after Thursday when she sees the consultant.
We are a large and loving family and are all shocked and frightened by this news, especially her mother my Twisted Sister and her father K.
Thank you to those of you who have already sent messages of support.

DD put this poster up in the local shop. Seems it blew away in the high winds on Saturday..... Or could it be that some unscrupulous person has kidnapped it!
The Waters of Mars
Sunday 15th November 2009
We got home from a visit to the BS family with 5 minutes to spare which is just as well because our VCR (yes,VCR, we're the last outpost!) is now on the blink along with the microwave...
DD has found a variation on the cushion over the face or the hide behind the sofa method of enjoying the adventures of the Time Lord. A supporting role perhaps? Or how about the Waters of Bras?
I'll just shut up now shall I??
We had visitors, on such a vile afternoon. Because they reckon I do enough sunsets they brought us the gift of a sunrise!
Trevor's mother used to say *You lay your troubles where you lay your love.* Plenty of both today....

I love her concentration in this one. Unfortunately I don't knit so she saves it for her grandmother's infrequent visits.
