1 I took a witch with me to the old folks Halloween tea party.

2 & 3 BS and DD carving a pumpkin.

4 Gourds in the local shop.

5 An uninvited guest at the tea party.

6 Poor old lantern looks more like a Charlie head with that nose! I miss my Bro G's superior pumpkin design and carving skills.

7 The witchy plant!

Half term in York

This is the flat/apartment we stayed in while in York. It belongs to our great friends S&L; who were the witnesses at our recent marriage. The flat is in an even more central location than the flat BS's mother used to own in the Walmgate and for those who know York, right by the Bonding warehouses and Gifford's Tower.

S&L; live in London but came and spent a day and a night in York with us which was wonderful.

The Snow Goose

(viewed 1242 times)
*‘We will call her La Princess Perdue – the Lost Princess. And in a few days she will be feeling much better. See!’ He reached in to his pocket and produced a handful of grain. The Snow Goose opened her round yellow eyes and nibbled at it.

The child laughed with delight and then suddenly caught her breath with alarm as the full import of where she was pressed in upon her, and without a word she turned and fled out of the door...*

Double Vision

Can you believe this? Someone parked an almost identical Toyota Itchypussy right next to our own Tragic Wagon. Ours is the older, dirtier one without the roof rack.

How we gasped in amazement... Oh what a funny thing to happen!
