...Or are there others who are really sick of the sheer quantity of religious posts turning up on moblog?
I don't know if anything can be done about it but are all these posts with the Biblical readings which are currently dominating moblog getting on anybody else's nerves?
Shall I put a comment on the forum? I thought we were supposed to be attracting subscribers. I can't see that this is anything other than off putting.
I'm referring to VANDER's moblog by VANDERKOK for anyone who hasn't noticed.
“If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.”
A A Milne
I was going to post this picture with the title *Sugar and Spice* but the picture put me in mind of the illustrations from Winnie the Pooh of Pooh and Piglet walking along together. So I remembered this quote which is by the Pooh author A A Milne but I have no idea where it comes from.
*She maybe the reason I survive The why and wherefore I'm alive The one I care for through the rough and ready years
Me, I'll take her laughter and her tears And make them all my souvenirs For where she goes I've got to be The meaning of my life is She....She Oh, she....*
That would be the Elvis Costello version from the soundtrack of *Notting Hill* of course...
*And oh when I'm old and wise Bitter words mean little to me Autumn winds will blow right through me And someday in the mist of time When they asked me if I knew you I'd smile and say you were a friend of mine And the sadness would be lifted from my eyes Oh when I'm old and wise*
From When I'm old and wise, an old song by The Alan Parson's Project.
More from the allotment of someone who grows more than they can use...
Is there anything as great as a vegetable that has grown in to a rude and amusing shape?
Edit: One of the contributors to this thread contacted me via the contact button to object to a comment I made on my moblog. Sorry I did not reply but I am very particular about giving out my email address.
