The reflection of the sky made it look as if the back of the car was full of clouds...
..like it's your last day there : (
Yesterday was DD's last day as a primary school student. Next term she starts at secondary school in the nearest town. She will be picked up outside the house by the school bus service. The neighbours who often gave her a lift the mile to her primary school in the village nearly cried as they set off with her yesterday for the last time. BS's school also broke up yesterday so I get to spend 10 minutes extra in bed as I don't have to make their packed lunches, chivvy them along or use a rota for the bathroom...
Godsisters.
I read that word recently describing the relationship between a God daughter and a natural daughter. Dazzle_Dust is my God daughter proper, in church the real deal.
DD borrowed Bracken so that she could participate in the village dog show. Bracken is a permanent at the local Lurcher rescue. DD also helped with the Scurry which is a kind of doggie speed trial....
My dear nephew S who is my Bro J's oldest child announced that he and his lovely wife are expecting their first child. I shall be a Great Aunt (again) and Bro J will be a first time Granddad!!! OMG!
..buy me these Alstroemeria. He knows that no amount of flowers could make up for him calling me a diarrhoea icicle..
BASTARD!
