An exasperating mixture of child and pre pubescent monster! Children like her don't grow on trees you know!
I have just waved her goodbye as she left for France on school journey. Part of me is so proud that she will be having experiences I haven't had and visiting new places and having lovely adventures.
And the other part of me will miss her very much....
(The colour of the dress is true in the top photo.)
I took some time off work and I walked the walk with my Divine Daughter because she had such a bad cold. Every joint in my body was screaming in pain so we made a lovely pair sniffing, sneezing and hobbling along. Having said that we managed to raise £100 for the friends of the school. These are scenes from the 2 and a half mile walk over fields and footpaths.
The field really was that colour. Buttercups and Sorrel (I think).
Foxgloves are everywhere at the moment. I like the slighter rarer white ones best though.
Out of focus cows. These are a fancy breed only found on the North Downs on Tuesday afternoons..... : )
DD and BS were playing with this on the carpet just now.
Still working my way through the holiday pics.
