Every route out of here was flooded on Friday. This was taken this afternoon.

This was last Sunday when it was so cold. We were out and about and before getting back in the car we had a walk through a park and DD played on the swings and things. Then we heard the chimes of the ice cream van. DD no longer falls for the one about them only playing music when they've run out of ice-cream so BS got her one, partly I think because he felt sorry for the ice cream man on such a cold day when no normal children were out. Mr Whippy then proceeded to try and sell us cheap fags! Just what you want from an ice cream man....
DD comes home later on Tuesday evenings because of her drama club. I got anxious when it got so dark and walked down to the road to meet her....
Edit: I was going to stick some appropriate lyric/poem here. Because the sky looks so greeny, maybe something about jealous sky/skies. All I could bring to mind was that horrid song by that crowd I can't remember the name of and the line from Sting's fields of gold. Now I love sting, his singing voice *undoes* me, really. But I can't stand fields of gold, really! So unless someone can think of anything else I'll stay with Dusk, Tuesday.
....by a complete arsehole.
Probably...
Picked this up from a supermarket for a couple of quid.

Again we made our sad January pilgrimage. My little family I have now never knew you of course but your name is often spoken and your anniversary is as familiar to them as my birthday. You are never forgotten but you are remembered most when the snowdrops are on the grass... As they were on the day of your funeral.

Footnote: There weren't as many snowdrops as usual and they were nowhere near as advanced as they usually are. And NO crocuses at all! I think this may be evidence of the hardness of this winter....
Hang your head in shame!!!!!!
