I'm here because it's a place where I want to be.
What do I do with my life - still pondering that, keep exploring the possibilities I suppose...
I do have another more personal moblog Vivupclose
Take a look at my daughter Beth's website...

Had to move all sorts of stuff fairly quickly to clear the cellar space for Bertha - she is sitting in the area that used to be my old coal cellar - also a large space neede to be created to take the sacks of pellets hence the piles of 'stuff' the second pile fills the space that used to be taken by the stone stairs to the cellar. To the right above that the door still opened! These piles have now been sorted :)

Was fitted in the second week of March. She is rather grand and works well although we will have to wait until next winter to really test her. She could be my only source of heating, but I of course have my stove on which I will now burn only wood, this now just heats the room and the hot water (Bertha heats water too if needed to)
