This billboard is aimed to attract new residents to the Metros Gungahlin area. The Land Development Agency has used a selection of lifestyle images to send a positive message to viewers. These images are accompanied with the captions 'shopping', 'urban living' and 'cafe' and the accompanying slogan 'full of life'. The visual images arnd words help potray that this area as the place to live in order to meet the target markets social and living needs. The target market would probably include young couples and families with a medium to high level income.

nightclub stamp

(viewed 1377 times)
This is a stamp for a night club given to each person before they enter, this is so the bouncers of club can see who has paid for entry.
However another use for the stamp system is advertising, the stamps usually contain the name of the club the one pictured says 'GHT weekender' (Glass house Tavern), this means that the customers are wearing the clubs brand all night.
This photo was taken after a shower so not only is the clubs name imprinted on the customers arm all night but also for a day or two after. Stamps can prompt friends to ask "where did you go", "was that club good?" etc.
This type of advertising is used on club goers, usually people between the age of 18 - 25.
