The Great Divide disc golf tournament is being held at Giants Ridge, today. The image seen above is the view from the 15th fareway.
... are appearing at Giants Ridge in Biwabik, MN. This tree near the 8th hole on the Giants Ridge disc golf course is one of many trees scattered about the hill that have begn to turn colors. It won't be long before snowboarders and skiers will start showing up! :)
It is a short stretch of the Embarrass River that connects Lake Embarrass to
Cedar Island Lake. You can see both lakes from the same bridge over the
river.
Over Cedar Island Lake, the sky began to indicate that much needed rain may
be on the way.
Wednesday evening, the sky over the Embarrass River showed no real promise
of any upcoming precipitation. It has been very dry this summer, and
Minnesotans have been wishing for rain.
