Gorki Park

(viewed 1035 times)
On my last day I spent a couple of hours here drinking hot chocolate,
writing up my journal and eating mushroom dumplings.

From the TV tower

(viewed 1328 times)
I didn't go up the tower last time, but this time I went up on my last
day to do some drawing. It was great to see how much area I'd covered
with many areas being quite recognizable to me now. They were building
snowmen down in the park and you could see the whole river frozen up.

When the waitress asked me would I like my beer green..

(viewed 1220 times)
How could I say no? She looked at me like I was a freak though - it
was her who asked me if I wanted green shizz in my drink, I thought I
was just buying a beer. I've no idea what the green stuff was -
something a bit like midori. Beer through a straw! Were they having me

Where Beth introduces the mocha to raumerstr.

(viewed 977 times)
If you ever find yourself on raumerstr. You should go to Supalife
Kiosk and then pop next door for coffee and cake. Both shops are ace,
one sells proper well good prints and comics and the other sells
proper ace fresh coffee and superdooper chocolate. As it was a coffee/
chocolate shop it made sense to me to ask for a Mocha much to the
waitresses' dismay. After clearing it with her colleague they agreed
to make me this strangethingfromanothercountry. I had to drink it
right in front of them to prove it was ok. It was the best mocha I've
ever had. Eager to try it for himself, the man behind the counter made
another cup and declared 'this is good! I am putting it on the menu,
what do you call it?' He wasn't happy with calling it a mocha -
because for him this was just a type of coffee bean. So he called it
'beth's coffee.' Go to Raumerstrausse and have my coffee! it's good!
