My printed business cards haven't come in time for tomorrow so i got the potatoes out and did some prints. i kind of prefer these now i think.

Tiled Hall Cafe - Leeds Art Gallery

Always worth spending time in here. Also, this is what a fake Leeds
Festival ticket looks like - virtually indistinguishable from a real
one (even by the ticket barriers until about 3pm on Sunday hurrumpf
and I hope they catch you www.leedsfestival2009.com).

Display Boxes

Trying out some display boxes. I really do have quite an attachment to
matchboxes. They've always felt a bit more precious than the
disposable item they really are. As most of you know they've featured
heavily in my work before, I guess this idea of presenting them is
just an extention of that.
I really should just be getting on with making the silver though
because at this rate I'm going to have very little to sell.

Super Tacky

...But I couldn't resist.
I'm selling some stuff at Chapel Allerton Festival next weekend and
I've been trying to think of interesting ways of displaying my work. I
don't expect to sell too much as these are the first bits of silver
I've put on sale but I would like people to go away with some kind of
lasting impression. These proposal roses are so ridiculous I love
them. And the vase was a baragain 50p from the market and just the
right height.
