so this one time I was in a pub explaining to someone my monkey theory - the idea that if you focus your mind on one particular thing, ie a monkey, you will start to notice it everywhere. I took out my phone and showed them my collection of thirty plus monkey pics all snapped within the space of a few weeks (see below).
predictably I was told that impressive though the collection was, I was still mad and that the 'theory' was utter crap. they said they'd only believe me if I could find a monkey right there at that very moment. I didn't have to look far. the second picture here is part of a repeated pattern on the pub's wallpaper - looks like a monkey to me!
