Yes, yes people I have emerged from my self realised obscurity to bestow knowledge on all headz. Used ta be out and about now strictly lying low dispensing wisdom.
Too much going down to stay quiet, now all of us have to rise up and speak truth to power.

There has to be more to us than dhal roti and Nokia phones...

Leaving for Pakistan next few days. Sorting out last
minute things right now. Will try and blog depending
on how closed da internet is over there. London to
Dubai, then a transfer to Karachi then after a week
travelling onto Islamabad and then back to Dubai
for a overnight stay. See you on da other side.

Want to check this film to see if it goes beyond da
normal culture clash cliches and whether it's gonna
offer something new. Now if I can just find somewhere
local where it's showing...

Getting a visa

(viewed 1251 times)
Expected to be here all day trying to get a visa.
But in da end took an hour as I bypassed a few queues.
Off to Pakistan in a few weeks after 20 years which
will be some experience. Thanks to my Dad who dug
up my old Pakistani passport which I forgot I ever had.
It's so old that it's in Urdu and Bangla as West and
East Pakistan on either end of India were part of the
same country (looked very strange on da map!).
Bangladesh is independant now. Anyways got 50%
discount off it due to having an old passport which was
very useful. Now my passport has both a current India
visa and a Pakistan one which means I can go over da
border etc and will no doubt give me loads of grief wit security...

Got an email from da Students for Bhopal group who
organised a protest outside the Dow Shareholders
Meeting on May 11th in Michigan but also presented a
resolution at the meeting which recieved 6.3% vote from
da shareholders. They do this every year to protest
against da company who took over Union Carbide and
washed their hands off any responsibility of the
1984 disaster.

Conversation between protester and a journalist:

'You've been coming here for several years'
'Do you really feel like you're making any progress?'
'Why do you continue to come?'

'It's very simple because people continue to die'

Supply and demand

Free market economics gone mad. Might seem like
a funny story but genetic oddball jokes aside da
international trade in weapons uses da same rationale.
People knock da EU but least they've clamped down
on it. This government don't want to know. Fuck 'ethical
foreign policies' we sell more jet fighters and gunships
overseas then most of our other manufacturing industries
sell anything else. So why are we in Iraq again and
why are British soldiers dying by the hundreds?

My Brothers a mad spurs fan so this was too good
an opportunity to miss. Just love da headline in the
Standard that caught my eye. Not my favourite rag
but da frontpage is priceless.

Watched this crazy Japanese live-action anime last

mad CGI and plot.Shits over most things Hollywood.
No doubt expect an insipid remake with Ethan Hawke
or someone in 07/08.Screen grab from DVD

Car boot afternoon

(viewed 1589 times)
Weather gettin' better so me and da kids hit
our local car boot in a field past West Wycombe
Village. Now this village is a very picturesque and
proper whiter then white and so I find it funny that
half da local Asian population converge on this
particular event. Now I know it's a socio-economic
thang and u got sellers as well as buyers and I
remember my own childhood where most of my
toys and comics came from jumble sales. So we
have a lot of well off Bucks types getting rid of
stuff for the townies as well as da usual pirate
DVDs, baby clothes and lighters. I can't believe
da stuff that peeps dig out to sell though...
