Yes, yes people I have emerged from my self realised obscurity to bestow knowledge on all headz. Used ta be out and about now strictly lying low dispensing wisdom.
Too much going down to stay quiet, now all of us have to rise up and speak truth to power.

There has to be more to us than dhal roti and Nokia phones...

You don't say...

Saw this instruction on a phone card and it brought back
the early days of credit card transactions where people
put their cards into the floppy drive etc. You see those
ipod accessories where they state that item does not
include an ipod. Is da world this gullible? Are peeps that

Local elections tommorow May 4th. British National
Party (BNP) are standing in 352 wards all over da
country. Da comments this party make in their
election leaflets are deeply offensive not just to
Muslims but also to women and many other groups
in society.Well aware that mainstream parties will
take their populist agenda around refugees and
asylum seekers and make it their own but the BNP
need to be challenged. They are da ones who will
shit stir on da ground and scapegoat those who
are the easiest to blame.

So use your vote. I ain't bothered if you want to
vote tactically or vote for something like the Orange
Squash party. If you're sick of the mainstream
parties vote for an independent or Green.

Guess who's coming to dinner?

This will join da company of ads such as Southern Comfort 'Who are you mixing it with' and all da fake caribbean Lilt/rum adverts we get. 'Real Mexicans' everywhere will be really happy to be continued to be portrayed as Magnificent seven extras. This is 2006 folks...

Black and blue 2

(viewed 2547 times)
Dug out a poster for a play I wrote with AIR
Theatre in 1987. Black and Blue dealt with deaths
of Asian & African-Caribbean people in police custody.
Back then da play caused alot of controversy, was
banned from several places and we recieved threats
from da National Front as well near riot scenes in one
place we performed it. I'll always remember putting
it on in leafy Wimbledon at da Polka Theatre as part
of a Youth Drama festival in '88 and having da Specials
'Ghost Town' as da intro music. When we dropped that
tune with the police light and sirens blaring peeps in
da audience didn't know what hit 'em. Thankfully I have
been told that I still have this wicked sense of humour.

Problem still exists of Police harrassment, brutality
and deaths. More and more it is people of Asian and
Arab origin and those who are Muslim who are under
da cosh. There still continues to be a disportionate
number of deaths related to the population of our
communities in this country. There have been more
than 1,000 deaths in police custody in the UK
since 1969 and not one officer has ever been
convicted. Flyer image is from United Families &
Friends campaign website who have been fighting

Black and blue

Inspired by Steves Fontana sociology text
here I went thru my collection of radical
paperbacks and dug this one up. Seventies
and eighties images of 'race relations' were
filled with oppositional images of cops going
head to head with black blokes with big 'fros.
Sad thing is that this literally mirrored what
was going on in da streets. If you hear people
talkin' 'bout da 'good old days' you gotta
remember it wasn't good for some of us. I
can still remember cops making monkey
noises behind riot shields...

Not one to hype products or companies I mean WTF
these guys have big marketing budgets and shit,
but I love dis little photo printer I picked up a few
months ago. Used it wit family and young people
I work wit (yea you Spongebob!) and had good laffs
and feedback. Like to be able to point my phone to
it and print photos off without using a PC. My
Mother-in-law was well impressed...
