Yes, yes people I have emerged from my self realised obscurity to bestow knowledge on all headz. Used ta be out and about now strictly lying low dispensing wisdom.
Too much going down to stay quiet, now all of us have to rise up and speak truth to power.

There has to be more to us than dhal roti and Nokia phones...

Some random photos that I took during da fortnight

Aisha on a mini bungee by one of New Delhi's shopping malls

Monkey in a dress. Kids were'nt too happy seeing da
monkeys obviously distressed 'cos they beat them wit
a stick. However they do remind me of people I know...

Try & guess what this is.

Delhi Central - just in time to try da new Metro which runs
through the city most of which opened this month.

Baha'i Lotus temple in Delhi. Beautiful building and it was
good to go and see the many masjids, mundars and
gurdwaras scattered around.

Commerce Indian style. Everyones trying to make a
rupee. Blatently vicious capitalist economy that takes
no prisoners. As you can see from da wedding pics
there is alot of wealth in da country but there is a
massive gulf between da rich and da poor many of
whom work as servants - 'naukars' and in 'naukari'
which is little better then indentured slavery.

Anyone who know me that weddings and dressing up
ain't really me however duty calls so I end up going.
This wasn't a normal UK Indian/Asian wedding though
this was a proper five day marathon of functions and

Top pic is of a party in a a farmhouse. Middle is the
wedding garland made up of rupees you put on da
groom and last a picture of the shadee house all lit up.

We didn't stay here for too long - not enough space we
had a room in da house behind. Many thanks to Kavita
and family for putting us up and being so hospitable.
Shout out to Karan for running around and doing some
favours for us. Hope you check the blog out yaar.

you know your shit.

Golden temple in Amritsar. Been a mad two weeks
where we have crossed something like 5 states in
Northern India and done the whole Indian wedding
thang - 6 functions and all da stuff that goes wit it.
Ain't a Sikh but the temple is strangely moving.

Car broke down in rush hour on the way back from Agra.
Had to get a auto rickshaw to the other side of town. This
is just outside Delhi and you see how hard life is for people
jus' trying to earn some corn.
