A 366-day pursuit in personal portraiture, presented by nige.
The challenge: to photograph, and post to this moblog, a portrait shot of myself, every single day, over the next year. Apparently, it's much harder than it sounds...
Perhaps more challenging: that i don't enjoy seeing my phizog in a photo at the best of times, and knowing that i'm probably going to annoy the hell out of the moblog community in doing this. So, sincere apologies in advance for this undertaking, but i just can't help myself. I promise to try and be creative, so you won't have to look at my mug every day.
Anyone interested in joining me? I think i'm probably going to need the company...

Alan celebrated his first win by bringing in some Krispy Kreme's
today. I've never tried them before. Clearly i haven't lived.
Now this is the very reason that i do this project. Some days i really can't be bothered to take a picture, and some days i'm inspired to do something new.
And occasionally, there are days when i just have fun. On those days it's not about the picture itself - more what i'm actually doing in order to get it.
Tonight i had to run out for some milk. My mum is visiting at the moment, and bless her, she needs her cup of tea. No milk meant i had to play the good son and head out to the shops in the pouring rain.
On the way back, i was already soaked, when i saw this park, and figured that the swings might make a good setting for the "dailyme"...
The rest of the story is in the picture really. I went swinging, and i had so much fun that i stayed longer than i should have. My mum thought i was dead (she's a worrier), and perhaps most importantly, she had to wait much longer for her cup of chai.
I wouldn't have even considered the park, had it not been for this project, and thats what makes it worthwhile for me.
