Britglyph is a public art project across Great Britain that you create, just by taking part.

How? You travel to a location and take a photo or video, and then send it to us using ShoZu, email, or MMS. Full details on how to get involved are on the map link above.

Together, we will create the world's largest ever Geoglyph, Click here to launch the map and get started, or Click here for more background information on the project.

Britglyph is powered by Shozu, helping you enjoy the view.

My initial Britglyph Sketch

(viewed 1444 times)
We wanted to do something more graphic, using opacity filtering to do a reveal of an image below an area but we became rather time constrained and weren't able to work it all out.

I did have a pretty clear idea in my head of how we'd need to get everything in though. OJ had a great idea for what we might have drawn instead which would have let us get more of the UK in (Hello Wales!) - a giant Spider with it's legs branching out over the country. Next time eh?
