Britglyph is a public art project across Great Britain that you create, just by taking part.

How? You travel to a location and take a photo or video, and then send it to us using ShoZu, email, or MMS. Full details on how to get involved are on the map link above.

Together, we will create the world's largest ever Geoglyph, Click here to launch the map and get started, or Click here for more background information on the project.

Stones for Stonehaven!

(viewed 1251 times)
OK So i live like 24 miles away from Stonehaven but it's taken me thins
long to post! :( Was in Blackpool at the weekend and decided to drop in
on my way home! Feels right placing stones at a town called Stonehaven!
I imagine it's where all stones dream of going :)

PS: the actual position of the marker is almost on the railway and not easy to get to so it's not exactly at the marker!

Only 6 markers left!

(viewed 1028 times)
We are now so close to completing the Britglyph project, with only 6 markers left to complete. Some of them are quite far flung, but others are really close to railway stations, like the Rowlands Castle marker. Does anyone know anyone in Rowlands castle? Brechin?

Once completed, we will be submitting Britglyph to the Guiness Book of World Records as the largest work of art ever created, so here's your chance to be a part of that, get to your closest Britglyph marker by checking them out at http://britglpyh.com and please forward this post to friends you might have in any of the locations left below.

Last 6 Britglyph markers:

Brechin
Davington
Carlisle
Haydon
Bishops Frome
Rowlands Castle

Thank you Britglyphers!!

What a lovely afternoon, walking through Holborn and paying John Harrison a well deserved visit. Discussing Handschmeichler, chronometers and life in general.
