Late night in DUMBO.

(viewed 1801 times)
I've taken so many photos lately I can't even begin to put them all online in any coherent way. But I liked this one especially so I made sure it wound up here.

Last weekend, I spent a lot of time running all over NYC with someone in order to record ambient audio for a television show. One of the places we had to visit was DUMBO, (ironically, *behind my thesis building*, in fact.) This was taken about two blocks from there.

Herby Progress, week 7.

Anyone need some basil?

As you can see, the lights have been raised again. The only problem seems to be the "water low" light keeps blinking no matter how much water I add (the reservoir is full, I assure you.) For some reason it won't reset.

I harvested a little chives and dill tonight for some egg salad, and will be using some basil this week for sure. The mint could use some trimming also.

In the last photo you can see the root system of the purple basil.

Herby progress, week six.

Since yesterday was a holiday here, I forgot today was Tuesday.

The plants are getting so big now, they're a little hard to photograph.
Also, check out this week's herby harvest.

I really need to go to the supermarket.

I don't have a catchy title for this. It is what it is.

Herby Progress, week five.

We raised the lights last night. Hydrox is guarding the most recent basil harvest.
