But I doubt anyone but me is going to examine this thing closely enough to complain and since I have no intentions of ever selling the table it doesn't matter.
I still have another few coats to put on the top edge of this section (which will be the bottom of the table when finished) before switching to the other piece of the table(which hasn't been touched yet, as evidenced by the matte finish.). With luck, nothing will go horribly wrong and I can get to that part tomorrow.
